Bray Wyatt has been released by WWE and it came upon as a shocker to many fans. They have been wondering what was the reason behind that decision. The reason was revealed to be budget cuts but it seems there could be other reasons as well.

Bray Wyatt has been outspoken about rejecting ideas

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp said during a special a special live Fightful YouTube that there is a lot to Wyatt’s WWE release.

Sapp said during the live podcast:

“I have been told that he’s not been all in on wrestling as of late, I don’t know how true that is because I have not spoken to Bray as of yet.”

It was then reported that several people in the company said that they “had not spoken to him that much as of late.” As per the reports, he was at a couple of television events since his last appearance at WrestleMania 37 in a match against Randy Orton but he also missed a lot of dates. He also rejected ideas he didn’t like. Vince McMahon ‘Saved’ Bray Wyatt From Release?

“When things were passed his way that he wasn’t necessary keen on, I don’t want to say ‘vocal,’ but he wasn’t receptive to it from the people that I spoke to as well.”

Bray Wyatt’s match at WrestleMania was also spoken about, particularly how the plans seemed to have changed from what they actually executed:

“There were people that told me on the Friday before WrestleMania that he was told by people in the match ‘we’ve got a great idea,’ and then they did what they did at WrestleMania and everyone was just like, ‘uh really? really?’”

Wyatt was also creatively frustrated with WWE:

“I don’t know if he was gearing for a return or not” Sapp said. He later confirmed, “there was creative frustration, for sure.”

Dave Meltzer had previously reported that Wyatt was planning for a return to television, but it will not happen anymore. He could be headed to AEW.
