Report: Jim Ross signs new WWE deal, set to call one WrestleMania match

According to a report fromĀ PWInsider, WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross has signed a new deal with the WWE and will return at the Wrestlemania 33 pay-per-view (PPV) this weekend (Sun. April 2, 2017) to call the Universal Title match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar.

Ross will also reportedly appear on the WWE Network occasionally for new material, in addition to more WWE TV appearances. The deal was offered to ross five weeks ago or so, prior to the passing of his wife, Jan.

  • I’d much rather him call the Taker match, especially since it is most likely his last match.
