Brock Lesnar Bad Rumor Leaks Before SmackDown

WWE star Brock Lesnar’s absence from WWE television following his battle with Cody Rhodes at WWE SummerSlam has sparked rumors about his future with the company. Particularly about his purported involvement in Vince McMahon’s trafficking lawsuit, rumors have been circulating. Furthermore, there have been hints in reports about WWE’s attempts to bring Lesnar back, and new information has clarified the situation.

Brock Lesnar was supposed to compete in the Royal Rumble. But because of his legal troubles with Vince McMahon’s trafficking case, these plans had to change.

In addition to being absent from WWE programming, Lesnar experienced other difficulties in his association with the organization. He was taken out of WWE 2K24, the most recent video game in the WWE franchise, and from WWE Creative’s plans in the near future. It has been noted that his exclusion from both the game’s roster announcement and creative plans suggests a significant shift in his status within the company.

During Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez dropped hints at potential developments signaling Brock Lesnar’s return to WWE. Despite Lesnar’s absence from various WWE platforms, Alvarez suggested that there have been “moves” to facilitate his comeback.

“In the last few days, there have been moves regarding Brock Lesnar. If you listen to the show last night with Dave [Meltzer], everything we talked about is accurate other than the roster page. There are movements to bring him back.”

Alvarez remained uncertain about Lesnar’s actual return and was skeptical about the idea.

“I should add regarding Brock. I’m not saying he’s going to be back. I have no idea if he’s going to be back. I wouldn’t bring him back but I can tell you that there have been inquiries made and what that means, we will wait and see. It seems like a bad idea to me. Put it that way.”

Ringside News reported that they reached out to WWE source to ask about Bryan Alvarez’s remarks concerning Brock Lesnar. According to the response:

“There is no change of circumstances on Brock Lesnar.”
