Brock Lesnar Demand At Last WWE Show Revealed

The former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar seemingly pitched an idea to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon for WrestleMania 38, his last show before his latest WWE hiatus before the summer. One of the Reddit users, ChampionshipRemote94 recently noted how apparently ‘The Beast Incarnate’ pitched an idea to Mr. McMahon as he said that WWE stars shouldn’t say they want to “Steal the Show.”

Brock Lesnar had a plan for WWE stars

The user noted about it while coming across a clip from Keepin’ It 100:

“Brock pitched to Vince that the superstars should stop saying how they want to “steal the show” as it indicates a performance and the entire goal is to win as quickly as possible. Didn’t see anything else on it, but I know Brock’s book sort of aims at saying the same thing and also that his pitch is why they’ve began selling their matches as the “main event” (Becky on her WrestleMania match with Bianca, Seth and Cody, etc.), and are taking a more conscious approach to competition, wins, and losses. They hinted WWE’s decision was also a shot at AEW’s “clamoring” for Meltzer’s star ratings. How do you feel about this?”

The user further shared his interpretation about the comments. He believes that it doesn’t mean that every match should be a squash match, but “you should work as if you’re trying to squash your opponent (aggression + sense of urgency).” In competitions such as amateur wrestling, boxing, mixed martial arts, etc., the stars are not looking to hang out with the opponents just because they can but they are looking to win as quickly as possible whether it be by pinfall or technical fall in wrestling, knockout or technical knockout in boxing, or knockout, technical knockout, or submission in MMA.

The user added:

“You’re prepared for the bout to go longer if necessary. I get what he’s saying. When you compete and work like you’re serious, you don’t need to rely on spot-heavy matches to get over as your skills will naturally shine in the process. Just because professional wrestling is predetermined, doesn’t mean you can’t compete. Steve Austin said despite it all being a work, he still worked shoots because wrestling is supposed to be treated seriously as they compete for championships and status in the industry.”

Brock Lesnar has been away from WWE since his loss against Roman Reigns as he dropped the WWE title in the process in the main event of night two at WrestleMania 38
