Several fans would simply agree that Brock Lesnar is one of the most dominant pro wrestlers to have ever stepped foot inside the squared circle. He had two terrific runs in WWE, both of which saw him winning major World Titles and being a huge draw for fans. Brock Lesnar was not seen on WWE television ever since he dropped the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 back in 2020. Brock Lesnar was also previously called out by a Superstar from Monday Night RAW.
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Brock Lesnar is set to compete at WrestleMania 39. He is also slated to work the Elimination Chamber event on February 18th as well.
Lesnar has been confirmed to be working both Montreal and WrestleMania. For Mania, it could be another match with Lashley. We were only told rumors of Gunther are false and that Steve Austin, who they had contacted for Lesnar, had turned down wrestling on the show.
Plans for a Hell in a Cell match between Edge and Finn Balor as the Brood and Demon, respectively, at the Royal Rumble had been in discussions, but the idea was scrapped due to Edge’s unavailability due to filming commitments for the Disney+ series “Percy Jackson and The Olympian,” in which he is playing Ares, the Greek God of War. Despite this, Edge and Balor still faced off in the men’s Rumble match, advancing the ongoing storyline between Edge and his former faction. Edge eliminated both Balor and Damian Priest, leading to a brawl between the three that continued all the way up the walkway, where Beth Phoenix made a surprising return and delivered a spear to Rhea Ripley.
