In June, she shared a photo on Instagram for Father’s Day of the “Die Hard” star holding her daughter, Louetta Isley, born in April.

“Seeing my father hold my daughter today was something I will treasure for the rest of my life,” she captioned the photo. “His sweetness and love for her was so pure and beautiful. Papa I’m so lucky to have you and so is Lou. Thank you for being the silliest, most loving, coolest Daddio a girl could ask for. Best Girl Dad in the game….”

The post from Rumer Willis comes days after Bruce’s wife, Emma Heming Willis, 45, penned an emotional tribute to her husband in a personal essay written for Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper.

Legendary actor Bruce Willis had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD). FTD symptoms often arise in younger patients between the ages of 40 and 65, according to the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

During the filming sessions in which the actor was present, people present could already sense that something was not right. He had difficulty in holding conversations, coupled with not being able to connect words correctly. The actor who featured in ‘Pulp Fiction’, ‘Armageddon’, ‘Die Hard’ and ‘The Sixth Sense’, has been getting worse and his family and friends have been responsible for giving updates on his health.

Unfortunately, there is no treatment or cure for the disease, which Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration CEO Susan Dickinson said could be passed on genetically in about 20-25% of people, but is also “sporadic,” meaning medical professionals don’t know what causes the condition.
