Tallulah Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, recently shared an update on her progress in recovering from an eating disorder. She posted before-and-after photos on Instagram to show the changes in her body and opened up about her journey to recovery.
In her Instagram post, Tallulah Willis began with a trigger warning before sharing the images. She started with an older “pre-recovery image” of her body and followed it with a screenshot of a group chat in which she shared a more recent photo of herself. In the group chat, her sister Rumer praised her as “beautiful,” and others complimented her on looking “strong and gorgina.”
Tallulah Willis concluded her post with a photo of a colorful fruit platter, signifying her commitment to a healthier lifestyle.
This update comes after Tallulah Willis wrote an essay for Vogue in May, where she candidly discussed her battle with anorexia nervosa for the past four years. She had been reluctant to talk about her eating disorder but decided to share her story to raise awareness and destigmatize discussions around mental health.
In the essay, she mentioned her journey to recovery, including her admission to a residential treatment facility in Malibu to address depression. She also revealed her diagnosis of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and how medication for ADHD had been transformative for her.
Tallulah Willis’s openness about her struggles and recovery process has received support from her family and followers, and her journey serves as an inspiration for others facing similar challenges.
