Cain Velasquez signed a multi-year deal with WWE. He lost in short time to Brock Lesnar at WWE Crown Jewel as he required knee surgery. He was previously announced to team up with Rey Mysterio for the upcoming Mexico City show, but he was removed. He is now back on the card, with a new partner.
Instead of teaming up with Velasquez, Rey Mysterio is set to challenge The Fiend for the Univeral Title at the event.
Velasquez will be teaming up with Humberto Carrillo in a tag team match during at the November 30th event in Mexico City. They will be squaring off against Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson of The OC.
Carrillo has been getting more focus in the company as of late and teaming up with Cain Velasquez is certainly a good thing for the young superstar.
