It was announced on this week’s episode of NXT Cameron Grimes will be out of action anywhere between four to six weeks as he suffered an injury to his leg.
He suffered the injury on the previous week’s NXT. He competed against Tommaso Ciampa, where he did not win the match. After the end of the match, Timothy Thatcher attacked Grimes. Thatcher grabbed Grimes’ leg and twisted it as he fell down to the ground, screaming in pain.
It was then revealed on December 11th by the NXT Injury Report that Grimes had suffered an injury from Thatcher “snatching his leg,” with no timetable given for his recovery.
The nature of the injury could be legitimate or part of the storyline. We will have to see when he returnes.
