Last week, The Revival was released from WWE. Considering the banter we’d seen between the former Top Guys and AEW’s The Elite, it’s assumed they’ll be joining them soon enough. Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood have yet to announce what their next move is, but Wheeler may have revealed what the plan was for The Revival should they have re-signed with WWE.
In December, reports came out from both Wrestling Observer and WrestlingNews.co claiming that plans were in the works to turn the former tag team champions into a spoof of the Fabulous Ones.
Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net released a report earlier today claiming that Vince McMahon wanted to repackage the tag team as a comedy duo, introducing a new theme and a ridiculous set of ring gear.

As ridiculous as this looks, when you look back at what happened to Chad Gable in 2019, it’s definitely not outside the realm of possibility. Cash Wheeler was asked about this on Twitter and opted to neither confirm nor deny the report, but his response definitely leads one to believe Haynes’ report.
