NXT TakeOver shows are often considered better than the main roster’s pay-per-view events. A lot happens in each TakeOver and they aren’t anywhere near as long as the main roster pay-per-views.
It seems that NXT is bringing a TakeOver special to a city and venue this summer and will be changing their formula of when they hold TakeOver events.
Wrestle Votes reports that a TakeOver event will be taking place in San Jose on June 8th. It will be held in the SJSU Event Center which is where NXT’s first show took place when they started touring.
What is interesting to note is that this will be a TakeOver event that will not be followed by a main roster pay-per-view the next day, which is usually the case.

There is no WWE PPV the following night.
