Due to his present involvement in trafficking charges, Vince McMahon, a notorious character in professional wrestling history, is generating a lot of discussion and controversy. It has recently been revealed that he was subject to censoring in the WWE 2K24 video game.
Former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE on January 25. The lawsuit describes events that occurred between March 2019 and March 2022 and claims McMahon’s involvement in sex trafficking, emotional abuse, and sexual assault.
McMahon stepped down from WWE in January 2024 due to the shocking allegations made against him in Janel Grant’s lawsuit. McMahon has also claimed that the litigation is rife with fabrications and has claimed he is completely innocent. John Laurinaitis, who is named in the suit, has claimed he is a victim in this situation.
WWE has started action to fire Vince McMahon from the organization following the lawsuit. It was not surprising that he was conspicuously absent from the WWE 2K24 announcement last month.
It has been noted by quite a few players already who have their hands on WWE 2K24 that during the Showcase mode of the game, it is noticed that McMahon was blatantly censored in numerous instances in the game, including a scene with Charlotte Flair.
This censorship comes as no surprise as WWE wants to erase his existence from the company’s history. We will have to wait and see what will become of Vince McMahon in the end.
