We noted before how Chris Jericho revealed that the finish of a Championship match at Battleground was botched during his recent appearance on Busted open radio.
During the show, he also revealed a huge WrestleMania match he had pitched to Vince McMahon back in 2014 which involved Shawn Michaels but didn’t get approved.
According to Jericho, he pitched the idea of a match between him and Bray Wyatt which would have seen The Wyatt Family being in Bray’s corner and Shawn Michaels being in his.
However, this plan didn’t get approved because apparently, the situation when Chris pitched the idea was wrong:
“When I went to pitch it to Vince I read the room wrong and made some mistakes. Not only was there somebody else in the room, but he was also hungry and eating. It just led to this whole deck of cards falling, where had I pitched it under the rules of knowing my audience; I could’ve got it through.”
After Chris Jericho’s idea wasn’t approved, Bray Wyatt ended up being part of a singles match on the PPV against John Cena and Shawn Michaels became part of a pre show panel for the event.
