The Former ‘Le Champion’ and The Painmaker Chris Jericho has teased a huge first time ever bout for All Elite Wrestling. This past Wednesday saw the debut of former WCW star and Icon, Sting, who Jericho seemingly now has in his sights.
Although the former TNA, WWE and WCW legend is unlikely to get too heavily involved physically, that has not stopped fans from fantasy booking matches for the master of the Scorpion Deathlock. Due to his age and catalogue of injuries, Sting had to retire following a WWE Championship match against Seth Rollins, this was of course way back in 2015. It’s currently unknown exactly what Sting’s status is in AEW, although he will reportedly be a regular character week to week.
