On a recent edition of Booker T’s Hall of Fame podcast, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Christian was asked about the possibility of a potential return to in-ring competition for ‘Captain Charisma’.
Christian’s closest friend Edge recently made his return to in-ring competition for the first time in nine years and simultaneously over the years, there has been a lot of rumors of a possible return for Christian, as well.
However, while speaking to Booker T, the former ECW World Champion claimed that his injury is completely different from the injury of Edge and added that there isn’t much hope of a potential comeback for ‘Captain Charisma’ at this stage.
“I mean, it’s one of those things right? It’s a completely different injury. I’m pretty contempt with all that I have accomplished in WWE. I pretty much accomplished everything I wanted to do except main event WrestleMania and I mean, let’s be honest, how many people actually get to do that?”
Despite not being able to fulfill his dream of main-eventing WrestleMania, Christian did understand the fact that only a few selected superstars get the privilege of being in that spot at The Grandest Stage of Them All.
Nevertheless, with an in-ring return unlikely to happen at this stage, the least we could see is Christian finally being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and join his best friend Edge.
