The former WWE star CM Punk apparently reacted to the latest cuts of the talents from the company. The list saw some shocking releases as it included the likes of Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Lana, Santana Garrett, Buddy Murphy and Ruby Riott.

It turns out Punk believes there is a huge possibility of that deal going through. The former WWE Champion sent out a Tweet captioned with waving emoji along with a GIF of Dan Akroyd from the movie ‘Trading Places’ where he’s selling off his shares on the stock market.

Punk also tweeted about the firings, “It’s like a movie with a blockbuster budget and cast, but if it’s written by creatively bankrupt nincompoops specifically for an audience of one, in a language nobody understands anymore, it’s…..trash. But people watch it because they like movies. 🤷🏼♀️”
Dutch Mantell formerly known as Zeb Colter in WWE also reckoned that WWE could be in the process of being sold to Disney.
He said:
“I reported last year that @WWE was in the process of being sold to Disney. Most people responded STFU. But lately, it appears that something is happening and it could be true. Do you think Vince might be selling? @SKWrestling_ @RickUcchino.”
