Impact Wrestling’s No Surrender event has already concluded and it was a night of memorable matches and great moments. Prior to the start of the event, a surprise took place. A video featuring AEW star Cody Rhodes was shown.
In the video, Rhodes could be seen wishing Tommy Dreamer a happy 50th birthday.
Tommy Dreamer, happy 50th birthday from myself. For those who do not know, Tommy Dreamer was the guy gave us our first break in the industry. As a performer, he is an exceptional hall of fame bound star. I’ve learned so much from Tommy Dreamer. Good luck in your match, thank you for everything.
Tommy Dreamer challenged Rich Swann for the Impact World Championship but was unable to win the match despite his best efforts.
What also took place at the end of the event truly shocked the pro wrestling world. It was officially announced that NJPW stars Juice Robinson and David Finlay will be making their way onto next week’s episode of Impact Wrestling on AXS TV.
The former IWGP Tag Team Champions, FinJuice are simply just the beginning of the partnership between NJPW and Impact Wrestling, as Impact Wrestling is trying to repair their relationship with NJPW.
