Cody Rhodes Sister Spoils WrestleMania In Photo

The WWE fans are gearing up for the spectacular WrestleMania 38. The show is just a couple of weeks away. It seems that the former AEW EVP Cody Rhodes is set to make his highly-anticipated return to WWE at ‘The Show of Shows.’ It was also speculated that he would return at WWE’s recent live event at the iconic Madison Square Garden and might face either WWE Champion Brock Lesnar or WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. However, WWE never had plans for that.

Cody Rhodes is likely to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania Sunday

Seth Rollins has been rumored to face the returning Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 38. Reddit user u/kerrmit125, a verified insider, has provided new information regarding the match and it seems that they will lock horns on Sunday Night which is the Night 2 of the marquee event. The user also stated that WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin will headline Night 1 with Kevin Owens.

Cody Rhodes’ sister Teil recently said that their late father Dusty Rhodes would be “beaming with pride” over what’s about to happen. She shared a photo over the weekend of Dusty and Cody together. She wrote:

“I knew my old man best and I know he would be beaming with pride if he could see what’s next.”

WrestleMania 38 will take place on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3 from AT& T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fans are excited for the event as they are likely to finally witness the return of ‘The American Nightmare’ at the show.

While speaking to the Wrestling Observer last month, former AEW World Champion and current Executive Vice President for All Elite Wrestling, Kenny Omega discussed Cody Rhodes’ passion toward AEW, especially when the company first launched. Credit to WrestlingHeadlines for the below.

“When this thing (AEW) first started, the most passionate person of our revolution, the most passionate person of creating an ‘us vs. them mentality, that was Cody. It was strange for him to just choose to up and walk away,” Omega said. “However, that being said, feelings change. The environment around you is ever-changing.”
