Cody has said in interviews many times that he can use the Rhodes name for professional purpose if he wants but he has chosen not to do so since leaving WWE.
However, now it appears that the former Champion has changed his mind and he is now teasing the return of the Rhodes surname for Dynamite’s TNT premiere.
The former WWE Star recently posted a video on Instagram showing off some new weight belts he has gotten and interestingly, the video ends with focus on the Rhodes name embedded on one of the belts:

This video has obviously started rumors that the former Legacy member will be bringing back his full name for the premiere of their TV show on TNT.
If it does happen, it would be interesting to see how WWE reacts to the news and if the company tries to block the AEW star from using the name.
