Dillon Danis, who is the Bellator fighter and training partner of Conor McGregor seems to have landed in trouble recently. A video is currently surfacing online that features the 28-year-old being restrained and arrested by police officers.
Dillon Danis reportedly arrested
As per the reports of MMA Junkie, the incident took place at the Beachcomber Bar and Grill in Seaside Heights, NJ over the weekend. The video was posted by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and MMA fighter Tom DeBlass, who’s been on bad terms with Danis over the last few years. Conor McGregor ‘Throws Punches’ At Football Game
A supposed mugshot of Danis later surfaced through a tweet by comedian Adam Hunter. The exact reason for Danis’ arrest has not been disclosed yet. But a few moments after the incident was made public, “El Hefe” posted this tweet quoting the same line his more popular teammate in McGregor used.
The MMA career has seen Danis holding a 2-0 record. He hasn’t fought since June 2019, when he defeated Max Humphrey via first-round submission. Danis was scheduled to face Kegan Gennrich at Bellator 238 in January 2020, but the bout was subsequently nixed due to undisclosed injuries.
