UFC President Dana White has reportedly released three UFC stars who are Emil Meek, Joe Ellenberger and Alexander Yakovlev.

Damon Martin of MMAFighting recently revealed on Twitter about the release. He wrote:
“Emil Meek, Joe Ellenberger and Alexander Yakovlev are the latest fighters no longer under UFC contract, per officials (also worked with the great @guicruzzz on this one)”

Emil Meek was last featured in a match against Jake Matthews at UFC Fight Night: Felder vs Hooker last year and had lost via unanimous decision.
The Russian UFC star Yakovlev was last seen in the octagon against Joel Álvarez in October 2020 at UFC 254 where he had suffered a defeat via armbar submission.
