Daniel Bryan has been in the middle of so many rumors lately that pertain to where his career will be heading to next. Originally, Bryan was supposed to end his career at WrestleMania in a blaze of glory as he waved goodbye to the fans with tears streaming down his face. The man who may have the answers for us today is none other than The Nature Boy (WOOOO!) Ric Flair. That’s right, Ric Flair was a special guest recently on Conrad Thompson’s podcast where he weighed in on the situation that sees Bryan in the spotlight between WWE or AEW. Conrad: “What do you think we’ll see with Daniel Bryan? The rumor is that his contract is expiring and he’s got options…”
Ric Flair: “He doesn’t have an option. He’s gonna go home with Brie. He’s one of the nicest kids I’ve ever met in the business and he would never leave the WWE. I’d have a very difficult time believing he would leave the WWE. If he does, I’d be very surprised. That whole family – everybody is tied to the WWE. I was under the impression he was gonna go home to spend more time with the kids.”
Flair continued: “Whatever he does, I wish him the best. I did not think that at his size he could make a difference, but he has.”
