Tommy Fury, the brother of boxing superstar Tyson Fury opened up the card for the highly anticipated Jake Paul Vs Tyron Woodley fight. Fury would defeat his opponent, Anthony ‘Pretty Boy’ Taylor via judge’s decision after four rounds. However, fans and media were heavily disappointed in what was viewed as a substandard showdown. This Daniel Cormier ‘assault threat’ recently leaked.
Current UFC Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion and current UFC commentator Daniel Cormier had his own sharp-tongued take in regards to the matchup stating that Fury looked very raw, wasn’t very good and questions whether or not his performance tonight will earn him a speculated matchup against Jake Paul.
Honest opinion of Tommy Fury. Wasn’t very good! Looks the part, but can tell he is still very raw. This performance makes his chances to fight Paul better. He isn’t very scary, maybe he will be but not as of now.

“The crossover can’t actually happen. I don’t think it can because it’s two different things isn’t it? And from what I have seen from sparring MMA guys for this upcoming fight with Tommy as you know, and their approach is awkward. That’s what they bring to the table so always looking to take people down, going for the legs and they get carried away because they revert to type under pressure. I have seen it in sparring with Tommy and you know, when Tommy cracks them, they think differently, because they don’t know how to ride a shot properly, they don’t know how to slip a shot properly,” said Fury.
