Deontay Wilder challenged Tyson Fury for the WBC World Heavyweight Championship in Las Vegas on October 9th last year in their third fight together. The Rock also previously sent a bold message to Deontay Wilder.
After a very long back and forth boxing match that featured Deontay Wilder knocking Tyson Fury down twice during the fourth round, it was Tyson Fury who won the boxing match after he defeated Deontay Wilder in the 11th round.
Deontay Wilder returned to the ring one year after suffering his second career loss to Tyson Fury when the former heavyweight champion took on Robert Helenius at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Oct. 15 headlining a FOX pay-per-view.
Over the summer former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder released some summertime vibes with his breakout performance on the track ‘Everything,’ featuring his brother Marsellos. Summer’s now over, but Wilder decided to drop the music video for the song. It features bedroom footage with his girlfriend.
Wilder’s coach Malik Scott had a ton of praise for him, stating that he is the most dynamic fighter in the sport.
“He’s the most dynamic fighter in the history of the sport,” said Scott recently to a group of reporters. “There’s not a fighter that can do everything in the world that Deontay Wilder can do.”
