According to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, SmackDown superstar Drew Gulak has been released by WWE.
Earlier in the day, Gulak’s profile was moved to the alumni section of WWE. com, which sparked the initial speculations of his release from WWE.
While WWE is yet to officially announce Gulak’s release via social media or on their official website, the report has suggested that Gulak indeed has been let-go off his contract and is no longer a part of the WWE roster.
Gulak also wrestled on last night’s episode of SmackDown where he lost a first-round match to his tag team partner Daniel Bryan in the on-going Intercontinental Championship Tournament and also posted the following in the aftermath of his defeat.
Yes, #ThankYouBryan! 🙏 A tournament requires great strength. Today let's work on our shoulders with what I like to call #Gulakmetrics! You can do this simple exercise anywhere! All you need is an immovable object. https://t.co/YRg7xqZEtT pic.twitter.com/nCYITpq1ow

The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion joined the company in 2016 and took the 205-Live Divison by storm.
It now remains to be seen what’s next in store for Drew Gulak, who undoubtedly is a phenomenal talent and could easily be picked up a top promotion.
