Drew McIntyre took a shot at Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega’s explosion botch at AEW Revolution in his promo on Raw Monday. Charlotte’s reason for missing Raw has leaked.
“I noticed that MVP made some guarantees tonight,” McIntyre said. “That’s such a dangerous thing to do in this industry. If you make a guarantee and don’t deliver, fans get upset and sparks fly.”
McIntyre then told fans he guarenteed a big thing against Sheamus at Fastlane on Sunday.
“Now, I’m going to make a guarantee right now. At Fastlane, Sheamus and I are going to produce a level of physicality that has never been seen before.”
McIntyre appeared to continue his rant on Raw Talk, where he dropped the F-bomb when cutting a promo on Sheamus and was censored.
McIntyre asked why Sheamus didn’t just attack him like a man. He started to say, “instead of all this fucking…” before the censor caught his remarks. McIntyre blamed the flab on his anger over not having the WWE Championship like he did for most of 2020 outside of a brief Randy Orton title reign in the fall. McIntyre will wrestle Sheamus at Fastlane, and then challenge Sheamus at WrestleMania. WWE ‘messed up’ Shane McMahon’s Raw promo.
