Drew McIntyre Reacts To Goldberg Promo Botch

WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg made his shocking return at RAW Legends Night earlier in the month. He challenged Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

In Goldberg’s promo, he said that Drew McIntyre disrespected WWE legends that came before him. However, that was not the case at all as McIntyre did not say a single negative remark on the WWE legends.

WWE Champion Drew McIntyre recently spoke to Barstool Rasslin’, where he talked about Goldberg botching his promo on Monday Night RAW.

McIntyre said that he was the one who literally defended the legends from the Legend Killer Randy Orton. He added that he did not believe a word Goldberg said.

C’mon man, I’m literally the guy that defended the legends from the Legend Killer Randy Orton. I just let him[Goldberg] and the world know c’mon just don’t say silly stuff. Let’s treat this like real life and the truth is, I didn’t believe a word you said. I don’t think you believe a word you said.

Other reports stated that WWE did not have enough time to film a segment where McIntyre would be shown to be disrespecting WWE legends, so the company wanted Goldberg to ad-lib his promo.
