Drew McIntyre’s possible direction in WWE; Asuka achieves WWE milestone

Drew McIntyre defended his WWE Championship against Seth Rollins at Money In The Bank. He successfully retained the title in a solid match. As their feud appears to be over for now, the question is who his next opponent will be.

Bobby Lashley has been booked well lately. The company is currently suffering from a lack of huge stars. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about WWE’s possible direction for Drew McIntyre. According to Meltzer, he gets the impression that WWE is planning a feud between Bobby Lashley and McIntyre for the next pay-per-view.

Bryan Alvarez then interjected that “they are absolutely going that direction.” With Backlash scheduled to take place on June 14th, we will have to see how the company books the feud.

Asuka overcame a lot of adversity and managed to win the Money In The Bank briefcase during the Money In The Bank pay-per-view. On this week’s episode of RAW, she was crowned the RAW Women’s Champion after Becky Lynch vacated the title.

Due to this, the Empress of Tomorrow has made history.  She is the first woman in WWE history to win the NXT Title, SmackDown Women’s Title, Women’s Tag Team Titles, Royal Rumble, Money In The Bank match, and the RAW Women’s Title.

Ever since WWE started doing empty arena shows, she has certainly been given a huge push and is now the top female Superstar on RAW.
