Richards shared the news of his release on his YouTube channel, where he expressed his gratitude to fans for their support and well wishes during his difficult time. He also announced that he would be updating fans on his journey to recovery with a road to recovery playlist on YouTube, cautioning that updates may not be frequent.
Richards’ hospitalization was first brought to public attention several weeks ago when a photo of him in a hospital gown with a walker circulated on social media, prompting an outpouring of support from fans.
