WWE Hall of Famer Edge’s return has been a memorable moment. His addition to the roster has been incredible and the matches he was part of in the limited schedule were entertaining as the fans loved it.
Recently, there has been a lot of turnmoil regarding WWE star Daniel Bryan’s contract. It has been told that his contract expired and and now he is a free agent.
But, WWE are continuing to offer bigger deals to Bryan to keep him in the company. They want the former WWE Champion to pen down a new contract.
If not WWE, then there is a possibility that Bryan could end up with AEW. It is understood that WWE had offered a lumpsome amount to Edge when the situation was something similar.
Edge was offered a huge deal

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that WWE could offer Daniel Bryan a ton of money to stay. Edge got a great deal, and it was because they didn’t want him talking to AEW.
“Edge got, what, [Bryan Alvarez interjected: “One day every three months at this point] — I know, and Edge got a ton of money, too for that because they didn’t want him going to AEW is where he got it.”
It was noted that the same theory could be applied to Daniel Bryan’s situation at the moment. WWE would not want their one of the biggest stars to join their rival company. A new deal could be offered to Bryan but we will have to wait and see what happens next.
