While Enzo Amore and Big Cass will not be making their return to WWE, the two are still very close friends and are a team in the independent scene.
Enzo spoke to Wrestling Inc, where he went into detail regarding splitting up with Big Cass and then eventually reconciling with him. Many thought they would never get back together, but they were proven wrong.
Big Cass was going through very dark times in his life and Enzo stayed by his side. Enzo explained that the two have been through a lot in the past year.
“We’ve had such a crazy whirlwind of events over the past year of our lives to kind of rekindle a friendship, get back together, become business partners, best friends, and hit the road again. It’s that Woody Nelson song, dude, ‘On the road again,’” Enzo sang. “It’s a great song – we were actually listening to it on the way here like, ‘This is us, right?’ So, it’s just fun. I’m meeting a whole new group of wrestlers and talking to these guys, and I’m enjoying myself, man! It’s just freedom at it’s finest.”
Perhaps someday we might see the two back in WWE, but it will not be anytime soon. They are currently busy in the independent circuit.
