Ex-Diva Says Biggest WWE Name ‘Was A Sicko’

Ronda Rousey departed from WWE after her SummerSlam fight against Shayna Baszler last year. She has since kept away from professional wrestling for a while. During this time, Rousey has been vocal about her problems with the promotion and has grabbed headlines by disclosing startling revelations about former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

Speaking with Rick Ucchino, the former WWE superstar shed light on her departure from the company. ‘Rowdy’ expressed her frustration with the company, particularly with former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

She candidly stated that she no longer wanted to be seen as McMahon’s “action figure,” feeling like she was performing in custom matches tailored for McMahon’s satisfaction.

I just didn’t wanna be Vince’s action f—-ing figure anymore. I felt like I was like doing custom matches for a f—-ing sicko in the back. All power to the girls that keep fighting the good fight. But I’m in my mid-30’s now. I’ve got s—t to do.”

Contrary to popular belief, Rousey said McMahon remained heavily involved in day-to-day operations during her tenure at WWE. She said that McMahon never really left, even if reports suggested otherwise. As per the former WWE Women’s Champion, it was McMahon who worked behind the scenes, although remotely, with his directions relayed through WWE producer Bruce Prichard.

“He was never gone while I was there. He was just phoning it in through Bruce Prichard. My agent who works at WME (Endeavor), he was telling me, ‘You know, he’s completely gone now, I swear.’ And I’m like, I’ll believe it when I see it, because everyone said he left before. He never left. He was there by text message.”

Her book “Our Fight,” is scheduled for release on April 4,
