A former WWE star 2 Cold Scopion was recently arrested after an alleged stabbing at a gas station via TMZ.
It has been noted that the former wrestler, Charles Scaggs claimed he acted in self-defense. The incident occurred at a Love’s Travel Stop on 3201 Ameristar Dr in Kansas City, Missouri, as per the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department.
According to court documents obtained by the outlet, Scaggs was reportedly involved in an argument with a customer at the gas station over a lit cigarette. The former wrestling star reportedly stated that he was working as a security guard at the store as per TMZ.
Scaggs allegedly directed the man to stop smoking inside which reportedly upset the customer. This argument then spilled to the outside where Scaggs pulled out a knife.
Police stated that they were called to the gas station at 3:40 am for a reported cutting.
The customer later denied having lit a cigarette inside the store. The former WWE star was arrested at the scene on June 15, according to police. He was handed a first-degree assault charge and one count of armed criminal action, according to TMZ.
Scaggs pleaded not guilty to these charges and is due in court next month, according to court records seen by TMZ.
Police reportedly said they discovered a man bleeding from his head, chest, legs, stomach, and buttocks when they arrived on the scene, according to TMZ.
“The victim had numerous cut and stab wounds and was transported to the hospital for treatment,” police said in a statement to The U.S. Sun. Police allegedly said the man had been going in and out of consciousness when they found him.
