Bobby Fish and The Undisputed Era won their match at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. However, Fish suffered an injury during the match. He immediately underwent surgery the following day on December 7th for his triceps injury.
When it was initially revealed that he went under the knife, fans were unaware as to when Fish would be able to return for active competition. It seems that will no longer be an issue.
As reported by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the injury Fish suffered is believed to be a minor one and there was no tear in the muscle. Fish is likely to make a comeback in eight weeks.
“In his case, it was said to be a freak accident. A piece of the cage pierced his elbow and severed the triceps.”
We will have to see what NXT has in store for Fish once he returns to the company.
