Goldberg AEW Double or Nothing Bombshell Leaks

AEW star Samoa Joe recently missed the Double or Nothing Fan Fest. He was scheduled to be at the Double or Nothing fan fest on Saturday at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center as part of the pay-per-view weekend. However, he did not show up for the event. This raised concerns among the fans, especially after MJF no-showed.

Samoa Joe missed the event due to communication issues

Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com wrote the following regarding Joe’s absence:

“It appears the situation with Samoa Joe and the Fan Fest was a communication issue, so totally different from whatever is happening with MJF, who did no-show.”

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com had additional information:

“Regarding Samoa Joe missing Fanfest, he was double booked and we’re told it was a miscommunication. One source indicated it was for a voiceover session.”

It may be some relief for All Elite Management that Joe’s absence is a normal issue as they already have to deal with the absence of MJF from the meet and greet and quite possibly the main event itself. Joe is set to face Adam Cole in the Men’s Owen Hart tournament Final at tonight’s AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view.

Sean Ross Sapp had tweeted that a flight for MJF has been booked out of Las Vegas after he no-showed the AEW Double or Nothing Fan Fest meet and greets. MJF is booked to face Wardlow tonight. However, his status for the show remains ‘uncertain,’ Sapp reports. MJF has been vocal recently about issues with his AEW contract, and he has teased jumping to WWE in 2024 when he is a free agent. Many believe this might have come into play to cause the absence.

Dave Meltzer reported that Goldberg is a free agent and could be a viable challenger for Wardlow at AEW Double or Nothing if MJF does not show up, but that he would cost a lot of money.
