Hall of Famer reveals how Apollo Crews can reach the next level in WWE

WWE RAW superstar Apollo Crews has been the talk of the town with his recent performances on the red brand.

On this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Crews pinned WWE United States Champion, Andrade in a tag-team match and later in the night, came agonizingly close to winning his first singles title, as well.

While Apollo has been remarkably impressive during the post-WrestleMania 36 period, WWE Hall of Famer, Mark Henry has revealed what the former needs to do in order to break through to the next level in WWE.

On the latest edition of Busted Open Radio, Henry said that in terms of talent perspective, Crews has capitalized on the opportunity that has been presented to him but the WWE Hall of Famer would love to see the latter with more “bells and whistles”.

‘The World’s Strongest Man’ also added that Crews could succeed with the help of an on-screen manager and a dominant storyline on RAW.

“I think Apollo needs a manager. I think Apollo needs a dominant storyline. He’s got something over somebody’s head, there’s got to be extra things and it’s no disrespect to him. It’s just that my knowledge of the force, if you will, is strong and I feel like his is not yet at the level of a fully-fledged Jedi Knight…There’s still room for improvement.”

In the closing stages of this week’s RAW, Crews suffered an injury in his US Title match against Andrade and was removed from the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

WWE will contest a Last Chance Gauntlet Match this Monday to determine the final entrant in the MITB Ladder Match.
