Hulk Hogan Brings Back nWo With Big Names?

The emergence of nWo stable which comprised of the late great Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Hulk Hogan, and Sean Waltman, still remains to be one of the greatest chapters of the pro-wrestling industry. They were inducted as a group in WWE Hall of Fame, and it turns out a return was on the cards. The nWo 4-Life Edition of WWE 2K22 is the most expensive version of the game, featuring Hall, Nash, Hogan, and Waltman on the cover and WWE wanted to cash-in with their WrestleMania sponsor 2K Games.

WWE changed plans after Scott Hall passed away

The WWE and WCW legend Scott Hall recently passed away aged 63. It was reported that he was on life support following complications from hip replacement surgery before being taken off. He underwent surgery and had serious complications following the surgery according to Pro Wrestling Torch. It was further noted that Hall reportedly had three heart attacks.

Now, according to Fightful Select, WWE had planned to invite two-time WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall and other nWo members to WrestleMania Weekend in Dallas for a promotional segment for the new WWE 2K22 video game before he passed away last Monday.

It is not known whether the commercial spot would have aired on WrestleMania Saturday or Sunday, or what it would have included. It’s unclear whether WWE will still invite the other nWo members in to reunite, but the preparations were in place before the tragic death of Hall. We will have to see what the company has in store for the fans.
