Hulk Hogan Calls Out Steve Austin In 2021 Video

Hulk Hogan is still hinting at a feud with Steve Austin, even after both have retired! During a recent visit to his father’s Florida home, Nick Hogan gave his YouTube followers an in-depth tour of some of Hulk Hogan’s vintage and newer rides that are kept on the property. Wrestling-Edge transcribed Nick and Hulk’s comments.

Nick Hogan: “Today I am down in Florida and I’m visiting my dad. Check this out, it’s beautiful out here. I told my Dad when I come down here, I wanna check out his cars. ‘Cause my Dad got me into cars primarily, and he has some of the cleanest cars I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Hogan states very matter-of-factly that The Hulkster has some of the coolest stuff in the world including his 68 Charger RT with a 528 cubic inch hemi engine that makes 900 horse power, all motor. But who’s keeping score? It seems both Nick and Hulk are pretty good at turning wrenches, as well as Mopar enthusiast. For those unfamiliar with the terminology, “Mopar” is said to be an inclusive word for any Chrysler-built vehicle (i.e. most any Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth, Imperial, DeSoto or Dodge Trucks/Ram).

Nick made his away around The Hulkster’s private garage, outside driveway, and finally the island house. Each car as beautiful, if not more so, than the one before it. Hogan saved what he considered to be his dad’s best car for last. They began to discuss the 1968 Dodge Charger with some special touches added on by The Hulkster.

Hulk Hogan: “We got a 68 Dodge Charger and uh, has original Rt car but we pulled the 440 out of it and put in a 528 Hemi. It was 610 horsepower stock, we went through it, did everything. We blueprinted it, polished it, punched it out, big ass cylinders in it, jetted it… Did everything we possibly could do it to make it fast. It dynos about 880-885!”
Nick Hogan: “Sheesh!”
Hulk Hogan: “Got air conditioning!”
Nick Hogan: “Hahahaha!”
Hulk Hogan: “Hid the compressor way down below, most compressors are over here, we hide the compressor way down below that’s a “Fred Brady Special” down there.”
Nick Hogan: “Fred Brady Special Baby!”
Hulk Hogan: “Yeah, because you know, a lot of people say you can’t get these. You don’t find many Hemi cars with air, and this is a 440 car with air in the dash. And – where the hell did that dog go – and so, it’s, this thing it’s spot on. PLUS it’s got electric windows… Stone Cold Steve Austin, which you don’t have!

After ribbing on fellow car enthusiast and former World Wrestling Entertainment alumni Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hogan then went on to share where his secret overdrive button is located, as well as telling the story of buying his black Caprice at Mecum.

Hogan should be proud of his electric windows! After all, Stone Cold only owns one of the 400 McLaren 720S EVER made for sale. It is the most expensive vehicle in his garage and is a proper track tool. (The McLaren 720S is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine that generates a maximum power of 710 Bhp and a peak torque of 770 Nm. It is blazing fast and can reach 100 km/h from standstill in just 2.8 seconds. It has a top speed of 341 km/h.)

On the road as in the ring, and any other comparison between the two superstars, these two simply have styles that clash. So it’s comparing apples to oranges, or vitamins to beer… in the end, to each their own!
