WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan is one of the greatest superstars ever to grace a WWE ring. He had previously addressed the fact that he would usually drink a couple of beers before his matches. The former WWE star Rhino recently revealed the lock room environment and how the interaction between the young talents and the veterans has changed over the years. Recently, Hogan broke down after Scott Hall’s death.
Rhino reveals he spotted Hulk Hogan drinking in the locker room
He spoke to The Angle and revealed how he had spotted ‘The Hulkster’ having some beer. The WWE icon had been promoting eating the vitamins. However, he had been gulping down a beer before his matches which have kept him going for the years to come. A 19-year-old Rhino was baffled to see Hogan drinking beer. Here is what he said:
“Meanwhile, I’m 19 years old and Hulk Hogan’s over there drinking beer. He didn’t have to do anything on the pay-per-view other than walk. Halfway done and the kid inside of me, I’m thinking, I’m like, ‘He says train, say your prayers and eat your vitamins. He didn’t say anything about drinking beer’.”
Hogan has been criticized over the years regarding his pro-wrestling skills. The former WWE star Al Snow had opened up about Hogan’s career while speaking with Sportskeeda’s Riju Dasgupta. Here is what he had said:
“What people don’t realize and don’t understand, in Hulk Hogan’s heyday, an audience didn’t pay to see Hogan wrestle, an audience paid to see Hogan be Hogan. That’s like, Steve Austin is a very adept wrestler, he was Stunning Steve Austin in WCW. If you go back and watch, he was an incredible mat technician, but if you watch him as Stone Cold Steve Austin, he wrestles like a beer-drinking, kicking redneck would wrestle, which is kicking, stomping, punching, being aggressive… and you could believe in him because he did wrestle the way you would expect that kind of a guy to wrestle. The same goes for Hulk Hogan.”
