Hunter Biden Is Asking Judge To Get Rid Of…

President Joe Biden’s son Hunter is set to ask a U.S. judge on Wednesday to dismiss the criminal case which accuses him of evading $1.4 million in taxes, arguing that prosecutors bowed to political pressure from Republican lawmakers investigating his father via MSN.

Hunter Biden’s attorneys will appear before U.S. District Judge Mark Scarsi in federal court in Los Angeles to raise a number of legal objections to the charges, one of which is that prosecutors singled him out for special attention in response to criticism from Republicans regarding allegedly lenient treatment in the past.

Hunter Biden, 54, entered a not guilty plea to charges of not paying $1.4 million in taxes while pilfering millions of dollars for luxury goods like exotic automobiles, escorts, and narcotics. According to his lawyer, he fully repaid the money.
A few months before Americans cast their ballots in the November presidential election, the trial is scheduled to begin in June.

It has been noted that Hunter Biden also faces a separate criminal case in federal court in Delaware over his alleged purchase of a handgun while he was using illegal drugs. He has pleaded not guilty and made similar arguments to dismiss the charges in that case.

Special Counsel David Weiss brought both cases and has accused Hunter Biden’s legal team of spreading “conspiracy theories” about the prosecution and said the justice department, under the Biden administration, would not act at the direction of Republican lawmakers.
