Popular Hollywood star Will Smith was recently hit with a speeding ticket. It has come to light via TMZ that the cops have said none gets spared for speeding at the super dangerous stretch of highway.
As per the report, Will Smith was driving his car on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California on Friday night. It is noted that the star of multiple award-winning films in Hollywood, was driving at 101 kilometers per hour in a zone where the limit is 72.
The fact that 58 people had already perished in the last 14 years in the area where Will Smith was stopped by the police—all of them as a result of traffic accidents—exacerbated the issue and fueled condemnation of him.
The California Highway Patrol made it very apparent that speeding citations are not tolerated in that area and that driver negligence is the reason behind the fatalities. In October 2023, four Pepperdine University students lost their lives in a sad accident, which was the most recent tragedy to occur in this area. Two young teenagers were killed in a severe collision with a vehicle that was moving at 167 kilometers per hour.
After Will Smith was pulled over by the police, he was ticketed and as per another report, he is required to pay $400.
