Is Jey Uso Signing With AEW After SmackDown?

This week’s Friday Night SmackDown saw the fallout of WWE SummerSlam. Jey Uso was betrayed by his brother Jimmy at SummerSlam. Jimmy cost him the championship match as well as the ‘Tribal Chief’ title against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. Last night, Jey Uso confronted his brother on the blue brand. Jimmy explained his actions and said what he did was because he loves his brother and didn’t want him to turn out like Roman Reigns.

Jey Uso had none of it. When Roman Reigns told him to acknowledge him, Jey superkicked him and Solo Sikoa. Eventually he also laid down his brother Jimmy Uso with a superkick as well. He then announced that he left the Bloodline, he was leaving SmackDown and quitting WWE as well.

Rumors fueling up saying that Jey Uso is headed to AEW after he ‘quit.’ But it’s all part of the storyline, so he’s not going anywhere.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that neither The Usos nor Solo Sikoa are in plans for next week’s SmackDown.

“The word backstage at Smackdown was that neither The Usos nor Solo Sikoa will be at next week’s taping in Toronto, so unless they pre-taped a segment, don’t expect a lot of storyline being furthered for the Bloodline next week. Roman Reigns was never slated for next week.”
