It has been noted that not even a little post-Thanksgiving fun in the sun could break Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump’s stolid demeanor. The couple and their kids recently went to the Bahamas for Thanksgiving weekend, and spies caught them hitting the wave pool and standing on line for tacos on the beach.
But while Ivanka, 42, posted pics of herself grinning — and wiping out — while surfing on a FlowRider machine and wearing a lavender one-piece with cutouts, waiting in line for food with her fam was apparently less fun.
They were flanked by Secret Service, and a source — who spotted them in the taco line — described the couple as “stoned-faced.”
“She didn’t seem thrilled. It was a ridiculously slow line, and they just stood there. No one let them cut. They were just waiting for tacos. It was very chill,” the source said via Page Six.
Trump appeared more upbeat when she hit the surf simulator. She then fell off her surfboard in the pool, but took it all in stride. The former White House advisor to her dad, Donald Trump, posted a video with laughing emojis on Instagram showing an employee assisting her as she balanced on the board.
The family’s Bahamian excursion at the Baha Mar resort came after they ditched her father, Donald’s Thanksgiving celebration at Mara-a-Lago. Sources told us the couple opted out of the Palm Beach, Fla. celebration, and chose to celebrate at their newly renovated $24 million dollar mansion instead.
