Jake Paul Attacked By Teen Fans In Car

The YouTuber-turned-pro-boxer Jake Paul and his family recently had to experience a turbulent situation as they were caught in the middle of an enraged riot during his last trip to London in 2018. The YouTube sensation has returned back in the UK this week to support Amanda Serrano (who fights for his promotional company Most Valuable Promotions) in the build-up to her upcoming fight with Katie Taylor in April. Previously, Jake Paul was accused of having affair with men.

Jake Paul reflects on the riot

Prior to their press conference on Monday, Paul visited the talkSPORT studios to continue the media tour. He turned up at the venue with plenty of security, learning his lesson after his last spell in the city.

Three-and-a-half years ago, he was preparing for his first boxing bout – a white-collar fight against Deji on the undercard of his brother Logan Paul’s clash with KSI. The four main protagonists shared a press conference in the build-up, which soon descended into chaos. Thousands of rowdy young fans stormed York Hall for the event. Those who were unable to get in to watch the actual press conference waited outside for the aftermath.

The Paul brothers were subjected to abuse throughout and this did not change as they departed. British school children as young as Year 7s lined the streets and banged on their not-so-subtle gold cars as they drove off, while others climbed nearby buildings to throw paint cans down from above.

Their father Greg Paul was punched in the back of the head as he fled. “Bro, that was nuts,” the 25-year-old reflected to talkSPORT.com.

“The people were like climbing the parking garages and throwing paint cans at us off the top.

“A paint can narrowly missed my head.

“That could kill you, right? A paint can from four stories [up]?

“The people here were trying to murder us.

“It’s pretty cool though, it is what it is.

“But yeah, that was a crazy day honestly.

“They were like jumping on the cars and stuff.

“Respect. Passionate people here. I love London.”
