Jim Ross discusses Jim Cornette’s criticism of AEW

Wrestling Veteran Jim Cornette who has been working in the industry for almost 4 decades has been one of the most vocal critics of All Elite Wrestling.

During the recent episode of his Grilling JR podcast, AEW commentator Jim Ross discussed a number of things and also commented on the criticism they face from Cornette.

JR first revealed that they are still friends but admitted that he has never agreed on all kind of things with the former WWE Manager because he is the kind of guy that rarely has a compromising moment:

“We’re still friends, we’ve never agreed on all kinds of things because he is the kind of guy that rarely has a compromising moment. He’s very set in his ways, he knows what he likes. He knows how wrestling in his view should be positioned, and I’m not disagreeing with that, it’s just that sometimes the message gets a little bit coarse and overly generalized. We know what we have, we know what we need. I think basically Corny is pointing out the obvious. He’s not providing any information that I’ve seen that is new and revolutionary. It’s the same thing many of us say behind the scenes. There are things we need to do, but look, these kids are working their ass off, Conrad, and they’re not all giants.”

Apart from this Jim Ross also discussed smaller sized athletes making it big in the wrestling world and gave example of people like Ric Flair, Buddy Rogers and Verne Gagne who were popular champions despite not being giants.
