The Undertaker recently became a subject of controversy after his recent appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, where he made some controversial remarks regarding the current professional wrestlers.
The Phenom said that he has a hard time watching the current WWE product, adding that it is ‘too soft‘. The Undertaker then said that he preferred the Superstars from his era as they were ‘real men’ when compared to the modern-day WWE Superstars.
Many WWE Superstars disagreed with what he had to say, with being Xavier Woods one of the first to respond to the comments. AEW Star Trent also said that Undertaker should be put in jail.
WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross addressed The Undertaker’s views on his Grilling JR podcast. Ross said that he agrees with The Undertaker’s opinion of current pro wrestlers, saying that the modern-day pro wrestlers are not as tough as wrestlers from earlier eras.
Because they’re trained differently. They’re brought into the business differently, they’re not sitting in a car, they’re not making 25-40 bucks a night. It’s just a different ball game and Takers got a good point there. Today’s wrestling getting chopped unmercifully to where your blood is rushing to the surface and bruising is already in effect, probably wouldn’t happen in today’s world because the offending person wouldn’t stand for it.
