As noted, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross had his official Twitter account hacked on Sunday morning by a Leeds United fan.
Some of the tweets were saying that Ross had died, which is untrue. This lead to “Jim Ross Dead” trending worldwide. His official Twitter had a “family statement”, and workers saying RIP.
Ross posted the following on his Facebook page:
Some one hacked my Twitter account this morning. I’m NOT dead but I am pissed! Not a good rib. Costing me big money to repair my PC, ect. Spread the word, Jim Ross is alive & well. Don’t have time to die. Thanks to all those that reached out. Sorry for the inconvenience.
