Jim Ross’ wife is currently on life support fighting for her life

As we previously reported, Jim Ross’ wife, Jan, was involved in a Vespa accident that required her to being taken to the hospital to undergo surgery. Jan was hit by another vehicle while riding her Vespa to the gym, without a helmet, near her home in Oklahoma and suffered ‘multiple skull fractures.’ Ross stated on Twitter ‘we need a miracle.’

In an update on his blog today (Wed. March 22, 2017) Ross revealed that his wife is now being kept alive via life support equipment, and the swelling in her brain needs to subside in order for her to survive:

“I will fully admit that there has been no experience in my life that could have prepared me for this life changing week. To see one’s life partner and love of one’s life being kept alive via life support equipment is tragically heartbreaking.

“We hope that the swelling of Jan’s brain will subside soon as it must for her to survive. It’s that simple. Nonetheless my little, Italian angel who loves her Steelers and all things Pittsburgh is fighting for all’s she worth to save her life.

“My wife would be so moved to know how many of you are praying for her.”

Our thoughts and prayers here at Wrestling-Edge remain with the Ross family during this difficult time.
