Jinder Mahal undergoes another successful knee surgery

Jinder Mahal underwent another successful knee surgery this week. The former WWE Champion took to social media in order to reveal the news.

Mahal made his WWE return on the April 27, 2020 episode of WWE RAW and defeated Akira Tozawa. It was Mahal’s first match back since June 2019 when he suffered a knee injury.

‘The Modern Day Maharaja’ took to Instagram and posted a post-surgery photo. Mahal’s knee was also bandaged up in the image.

The former WWE Champion also wrote the following message on Friday morning on his Instagram post.

“Unfortunately I had to go under the knife again to fix some knee issues. The journey has hit a speed bump, but I will be back stronger than ever.”

Mahal reportedly signed a new 5-year deal with WWE back in 2019 and recently made his return to the company.

However, it now looks like the former WWE Champion will be on the sidelines for a few more months. We wish Mahal a speedy recovery.
