UFC president Dana White is a very unpredictable person and former UFC commentator Mike Goldberg found that out first hand as it was recently revealed during a podcast appearance that Goldberg had an unpredictable and awkward run-in with his former employer. Goldberg had been UFC’s lead play-by-play announcer for nearly twenty years until the UFC decided not to renew Goldberg’s contract. Following his departure from UFC, Goldberg was the play-by-play voice for Bellator MMA until April of this year. Credit to Heavy for the following quotes. Dana White recently ‘banned’ Nate Diaz from this huge show.

While coaching his son’s hockey team in a local tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada, this is when the encounter ultimately took place. According to Goldberg, his son was the first person to point out that Dana White was actually in the area as well before the father and son duo went off to their game by going: ““Dad, That’s Dana!”

After not knowing what to do for a brief moment, Goldberg walked up to White and exchanged pleasantries. “Hey Dana, how are you’ Goldberg stated, while also noting that the experience was a positive one.

‘We shook hands. I said I’d love to stay in touch. He said we should do that. And there you go’ the one-time ‘Voice of the Octagon’ added. However, Goldberg did say that he was happy that he had the moment with White he did admit during the podcast that it was still an awkward situation.
